A Heartfelt Thank You to Our 50/50 Winner: Laura Romo

At our most recent Lake Havasu Marine Association General Meeting, we hosted our 50/50 raffle to help fund the purchase of the remaining Rapid Radios needed for our safety boat. These radios play a vital role in maintaining clear communication during on-water events, emergencies, and community activities.

We'd like to recognize Laura Romo, this month’s 50/50 winner — and even more grateful for her heartfelt generosity. Instead of keeping her winnings, Laura chose to donate the full amount back to LHMA, directly supporting our mission to enhance safety on the water.

Acts of kindness like Laura’s reflect the true spirit of our community. Her contribution helps accelerate our efforts to equip our safety teams with reliable communication tools that protect boaters, volunteers, and the public.
