LHMA Launches 50/50 Raffle Fundraiser with Generous First Winner

The Lake Havasu Marine Association (LHMA) is always looking for new and creative ways to support our mission of boating safety, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.

At our recent General Meeting & Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, we launched a new 50/50 raffle fundraiser, with proceeds dedicated to purchasing a sufficient supply of Rapid Radios for use during water safety events.

Our very first winner, Ken Jayne, received $125. In a powerful act of generosity, Ken immediately donated his winnings back to LHMA, directly supporting the fundraiser’s purpose.

Ken is more than just a raffle winner — he is an active member of our Water Safety crew and had participated in our Designated Operator Information Session earlier that same evening. His dedication to both the LHMA mission and the broader Lake Havasu City community reflects the very spirit of volunteerism and generosity that fuels our organization.

The addition of rapid radios will strengthen LHMA’s ability to coordinate safety teams and respond effectively during events, ensuring the lake remains safe and enjoyable for everyone.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ken for leading the way with such kindness and to everyone who participated in the raffle. This is only the beginning of a tradition that will bring both excitement and vital support to LHMA’s programs.
