The Lake Havasu Marine Association (LHMA) held its Quarterly General Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Dinner last week, bringing together members, volunteers, and community leaders to reflect on the progress of the past year and celebrate the people who make it all possible.
One of the evening’s most heartfelt moments came when LHMA’s new CEO, Rick Aurich, presented an award of appreciation to outgoing CEO Rick Riegler.
Rick Riegler has dedicated years of service to the Lake Havasu Marine Association, providing strong leadership that guided the organization through growth and new initiatives. Under his leadership, LHMA expanded its impact through safety programs, conservation efforts, and events that support both the boating community and the greater Lake Havasu region.
During the award presentation, CEO Rick Aurich spoke about the importance of continuity, gratitude, and honoring the work that has come before. He emphasized that LHMA’s ongoing success is built on a foundation created by leaders like Rick Riegler, whose dedication to the mission has helped ensure Lake Havasu City remains safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
As we look ahead, LHMA will continue to build on this legacy with a renewed commitment to stewardship, safety, and community partnerships. On behalf of our members, volunteers, and partners, we extend our deepest thanks to Rick Riegler for his service and lasting contributions to the Lake Havasu Marine Association.
